EH Travel & Services ERP

Travel and service-office workflows for visas, passports, service orders, payments, expenses and reporting. Active development.

Travel and Service Office ERPWebActive development

Overview

  • Built for travel and service offices that sell document and trip-related services rather than pure retail inventory.
  • Service orders carry customer, document type, status and settlement context in one record.
  • Payments and expenses attach to orders so office cash movement stays explainable.
  • Active development on Laravel, PHP, MySQL and Blade — not claimed as a finished multi-branch product.

Business context

Travel and service offices process visas, passports and related service requests with many hand-offs. Status, payments and expenses often live in notebooks and chat threads.

Problem

Staff could not answer where a service order stood, what had been collected or which expenses belonged to which request without reconstructing the file manually.

Intended users

  • Front-office agents creating service orders
  • Operations staff updating document status
  • Cashiers recording collections and expenses
  • Managers reviewing open orders and cash movement

Core capabilities

Service order ledger

Each request carries customer, service type, status and financial attachments in one place.

Status progression

Offices move orders through explicit stages instead of informal chat updates.

Cash explainability

Payments and expenses link back to orders so daily cash movement can be reviewed.

  • CSRF protection on form posts
  • Environment-separated database credentials
  • No unnecessary third-party scripts in the office UI

Current phase

EH Travel Services ERP is an EH DESIGN product initiative in active development. Core service-order, payment and expense flows are being built. No commercial deployment claims are made.

Scope boundaries

  • Not a full airline GDS or booking-engine replacement
  • Not a statutory accounting package
  • No claim of multi-country compliance packs
  • Active development — module depth still expanding

Remaining work

  • Deeper status workflows per service type
  • Report pack expansion
  • Operator documentation
  • Hardening payment and expense edge cases

Main workflows

Open a service order

Register the customer, choose the service type and capture initial document details.

Advance status

Update processing stage as documents move, keeping a visible trail for the office.

Collect payment

Record collections against the order and keep outstanding amounts visible.

Log expenses and report

Capture related expenses and review open orders, collections and expense summaries.

Technical decisions

Laravel for office speed

Server-rendered Blade screens fit internal office workflows and keep delivery iterative.

Order-centric model

Visas, passports and similar services share one order shape with typed service metadata.

Finance attached to work

Payments and expenses hang off orders so cash questions always have an operational answer.

Avoid premature SPA complexity

A practical Blade UI ships faster for this office context than a heavy frontend split.

Testing approach

  • Feature tests for order creation and status transitions
  • Payment and expense attachment tests
  • Authorization checks by role
  • Manual office scenario passes for intake to completion
